Mark J. Anderson, DDS
Combining skill, experience and a compassionate manner, Dr. Mark Anderson is proud to serve Wheatland and surrounding communities in southeastern Wyoming. Prior to entering private practice, Dr. Mark Anderson was born and raised in South Dakota. He was a medic in the first Iraq war, Desert Storm. He then completed his undergraduate at South Dakota State and the University of South Dakota and attended dental school at the University of Nebraska Lincoln, graduating in 1994. He joined his brother and sister-in-law, Drs. Chuck and Kathy Anderson, in Pierre, South Dakota for one year and then moved to Wheatland, Wyoming. He opened Wheatland Family Dental in 1995.
Dr. Anderson and his staff take pride in offering exceptional dental care centered on the comfort and specific needs of their patients. He believes in individualizing his treatments, taking the time to educate patients about their options and helping them to set realistic goals.
Both Dr. Anderson and his staff are committed to furthering their education as part of their effort to bring their patients only the latest, most effective dental techniques and services. His office is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, ensuring that even the most complex dental procedures will be as comfortable and pain-free as possible. Everyone truly wants to do whatever they can to help their patients achieve the beautiful, vibrant smiles they desire.
Because Dr. Anderson feels it is important to stay on the cutting-edge of dentistry, he maintains memberships in many prestigious professional organizations to keep up-to-date on the latest techniques and technology. He is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Wyoming Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is also currently enrolled in the Post-graduate Program in Esthetic Dentistry at the University of Minnesota.
In his personal life, Dr. Anderson has been married to his wife, Sherri, since 1994. Sherri is the office manager for Wheatland Family Dental. She also attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln and received her Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology. She is licensed as a private practitioner for the state of Wyoming. They have five children and enjoy raising them in Wheatland. Dr. Anderson and his wife enjoy hunting, boating, skiing, snowmobiling and music.
